Softball Recap: Milwaukee Bay View Takes a Loss

Milwaukee Bay View extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They lost 23-9 to Riverside University/Meir. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Riverside University/Meir this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 on April 10th.

As for Riverside University/Meir, the victory got them back to even at 6-6. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Riverside University/Meir's part, Nadiah Aitch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Aitch a new career-high. Zoey Calvin was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three runs and three RBI.

Milwaukee Bay View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside University/Meir, they will take on Milwaukee School of Languages at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
