Basketball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Rabun County Wildcats at home by a 52-33 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-21 on January 4th.

Commerce's record is now 6-16. As for Rabun County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

Commerce will face off against Athens Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rabun County, they will host Banks County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Banks County will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Rabun County surely won't give up without a fight.
