Basketball Recap: United Has No Trouble Against Conemaugh Valley

United won the last time they faced Conemaugh Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The United Lions blew past the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays 71-46. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Several Blue Jays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylen Henry, who posted 18 points and four steals. Henry is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Masser, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

The victory made it two in a row for United and bumps their season record up to 13-6. As for Conemaugh Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

United has already played their next contest, a 66-52 defeat against Conemaugh Township on the 30th. As for Conemaugh Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-61 win against Northern Cambria on the 30th.
