Seaforth lost against Jordan-Matthews back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Seaforth fell just short of Jordan-Matthews by a score of 6-5. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Annika Johansson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Those stolen bases marked the first that she snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Emma Stong, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Seaforth's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Jordan-Matthews, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seaforth will welcome Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bartlett Yancey has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something Seaforth will no doubt try to take advantage of.
