Softball Recap: St. John's Mavericks vs. Houston Christian Mustangs

St. John won the last time they faced Houston Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. St. John's walked away with an 11-7 win over Houston Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

Melanie Chen made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
