Basketball Recap: O'bannon Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Palmer came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against O'Bannon, but Trumyah McCullough wouldn't allow it. The Greenwaves blew past the Dragons 59-38 on Tuesday with plenty of help from McCullough, who shot 52% from the field en route to 27 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of O'Bannon's points.

Another player making a difference was Zakiya Petterson, who posted ten points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

O'Bannon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Bannon will head out to face off against Simmons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmer, they will square off against Leflore County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
