Kiowa barely beat Miami-Yoder the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8, 25-20.

Kiowa was led to victory by Emery Kelly and Kaylee Wyer. Kelly had 11 digs and five aces, while Wyer had eight digs and one assist. That's the most aces Kelly has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Kiowa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

Kiowa's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Miami-Yoder, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Kiowa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Flagler on the 11th. As for Miami-Yoder, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cripple Creek-Victor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
