Prestonwood Christian wins going away against Hockaday

The Prestonwood Christian Lions stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Hockaday 51-27. Given Prestonwood Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Hockaday is ranked 515th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Among those leading the charge was Kierstin Rink, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Londyn Oliphant, who scored ten points along with six assists and three steals.

Prestonwood Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. As for Hockaday, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prestonwood Christian will take on Bishop Lynch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Lynch is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Hockaday, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Episcopal School of Dallas at 4:45 p.m. on February 2nd.
