The Central Cabarrus Vikings will be playing at home against the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Central Cabarrus' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

Central Cabarrus took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Concord by a score of 71-58.

Kevonta' Martin was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 blocks per game. Another player making a difference was Cayden Smith, who went 7 of 14 en route to 22 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Northwest Cabarrus suffered their biggest defeat since February 21, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 67-46 to Carson.

Central Cabarrus has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
