Baseball Preview: Barren County Trojans vs. Warren East Raiders

The Barren County Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Warren East Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Barren County is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Barren County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Logan County by a score of 10-9.

Warren East lost a close one when they played in their first game on Saturday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed in their second game on Saturday was a bit more commanding. William Alexander made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a triple, two RBI, and a run. Another player making a difference was Maddox Tarrence, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Barren County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Warren East, their record now sits at 9-9.
