Baseball Recap: Willard Comes Up Short

Willard lost against Edison two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crimson Flashes lost 10-4 to the Chargers. The Crimson Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jandyel Salazar, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Willard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Edison, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willard will head out to square off against Mansfield Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edison, they will venture away from home to take on Port Clinton at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
