Bertie extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They took a 35-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Camden County Bruins. On the bright side, the 22- point effort marked the Falcons' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Camden County, their win bumped their record up to 3-4. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

Javon Riddick was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 317 yards and two scores while picking up 15.9 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 141 rushing yards per game.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bertie will take on Holmes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Aces have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Camden County, they will face off against Perquimans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
