Volleyball Recap: Mason Hoadley and Landon Helwig Secure Win for Oconomowoc

The Oconomowoc Raccoons had just enough and edged out Madison Country Day 3-2 on Monday.

Oconomowoc took Madison Country Day into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 23-25, 15-12.

Leading Oconomowoc to victory were Landon Helwig and Mason Hoadley. Helwig had 11 digs and one assist, while Hoadley had eight digs and five kills.

Oconomowoc's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Madison Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Oconomowoc has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Waukesha West on the 10th. As for Madison Country Day, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madison Memorial on October 2.
