Baseball Recap: Globe Tigers vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels

Globe extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 9-13 in the process. They came up short against the Seton Catholic Sentinels, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

As for Seton Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 17-9. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

For Seton Catholic's part, Brady Stephenson tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Stephenson has posted since back in March.

At the plate, Joe Ferrance was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Peterson, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
