Soccer Recap: Haleyville Takes a Loss

Haleyville lost to Wilson back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Warriors, falling 8-1. Haleyville were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Kenna Turner, who's now up to 11 this season.

Haleyville's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wilson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Coming up, Haleyville will face off against Mars Hill Bible at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Brooks at 5:00 p.m. Wilson will be up against Brooks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.9 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
