Football Recap: Pascack Valley Takes a Loss

Pascack Valley came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 39-13 to the Northern Highlands Highlanders. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost four in a row.

Michael Colletti threw for 73 yards and one TD on only five passes. Dante DaCosta was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards.

Pascack Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northern Highlands, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pascack Valley will square off against Bergenfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northern Highlands, they will face off against Union City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
