Basketball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short

Brookfield was the 73-58 winner over Stratford when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Brookfield Bobcats were beaten by the Stratford Red Devils 78-48 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly 30 points.

Brookfield lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ben Broadhurst, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Pshenianikov, who scored seven points.

This is the second loss in a row for Brookfield and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Stratford, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Brookfield has already played their next matchup (against Bethel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stratford has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Pomperaug.
