The Vincennes Lincoln Alices will head out to square off against the Princeton Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
While Vincennes Lincoln didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 71-40 win over Shoals. The Alices have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Vincennes Lincoln got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Hall out in front who went 8 of 11 en route to 20 points. Hall has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Colton York, who posted 14 points.
Meanwhile, Princeton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Evansville Bosse 62-46. The 62-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Princeton's win came from a few key players Vincennes Lincoln will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Edwin Holmes, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. What's more, he also racked up four blocks, the most he's had since back in January. Jaylin Price was another key player, going 9 of 13 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds.
Princeton pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their record is now 6-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Vincennes Lincoln has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 26.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Princeton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Vincennes Lincoln was dealt a bruising 68-34 loss at the hands of Princeton when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Holmes, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. Now that Vincennes Lincoln knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
