Football Recap: William Byrd Comes Up Short at Home Against Patrick Henry

William Byrd unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 34-17 fall against the Patrick Henry Patriots on Friday. If the Terriers were looking for revenge after losing 49-21 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Looking ahead, William Byrd will challenge Cave Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Patrick Henry, they will venture away from home to take on Southern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
