Football Recap: Pasco Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Pasco was not quite Kennewick's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 31-20 to the Lions. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Lions are ranked 22nd).

Pasco now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kennewick, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pasco is set to challenge their familiar foe Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kennewick will take on rival Sageview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
