The Bethel Christian Academy Trojans will take on the Scotland Christian Academy Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethel Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.
Bethel Christian Academy will bounce into Monday's game after beating Wilson Christian Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Trojans blew past the Chargers 11-1 last Friday. Considering the Trojans have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cooper Williams spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has become a key player for Bethel Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Jamey Williams and Brayden Cash did most of the damage at the plate: Jamey went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Cash went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most stolen bases Williams has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Luke Donoho, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
They weren't the only one making solid contact: Bethel Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Scotland Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against Greenville Christian Academy on Friday, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Saints were not able to get on the board.
Bethel Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Scotland Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
