After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olympic, Kingston was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Orting Cardinals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buccaneers have posted since May 17, 2024.

Kingston's victory bumped their record up to 10-8-1. As for Orting, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10-1.

Coming up, Kingston is taking a road trip to square off against Port Angeles at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Roughriders will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight. Orting does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
