Volleyball Recap: North Lenoir Hawks vs. Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs

If North Lenoir was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southwest Onslow last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Lenoir Hawks lost 3-0 to the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Hawks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

While North Lenoir was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.

North Lenoir will welcome East Duplin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Duplin will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something North Lenoir surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will venture away from home to square off against Kinston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
