Cane Bay hasn't had much luck against Berkeley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cobras will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stags at 7:00 p.m.

Cane Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Porcelli, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Porcelli is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another was Tre Lawrence, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Berkeley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Stratford 6-5.

Cane Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Berkeley, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
