Baseball Recap: Pitman's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pitman can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Whitney Wildcats on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Pride's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pitman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Way, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Pitman moved to 11-16 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Whitney, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

Pitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitney, they will square off against Rodriguez at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
