Soccer Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short

Piedmont Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tattnall Square Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

Piedmont Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.

Coming up, Piedmont Academy will venture away from home to challenge Mount de Sales Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont Academy will be up against Mount de Sales Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.38 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Stratford Academy on the 17th.
