Baseball Game Preview: Redford Union Panthers vs. Renaissance Phoenix

The Redford Union Panthers will take on the Renaissance Phoenix at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Redford Union comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Redford Union is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Robichaud by a score of 13-12 on Wednesday.

While Renaissance didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Loyola on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Redford Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Renaissance, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Redford Union took their win against Renaissance in their previous meeting back in April of 2016 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Phoenix turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
