For the second straight game, Waltham will face off against Somerville. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Waltham is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15 runs per game this season.

Waltham is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Somerville on Friday as they made off with a 26-5 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Hawks with their most commanding win of the season.

Josie Proskoczilo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. Proskoczilo was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Gabriella Destefano was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Laila Drouillard was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Waltham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Somerville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Waltham, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
