Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Patriots vs. O'Gorman Knights

Lincoln has won seven straight games at home, while O'Gorman has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Patriots will welcome the Knights at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Saturday, Lincoln made easy work of Brookings and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Lincoln was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 28-26, 25-7.

Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julia Blom, who had 14 digs and two assists. Blom has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played. Hayden Kok was another key player, getting nine digs.

Meanwhile, O'Gorman got the win against Rapid City Central on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-17.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for O'Gorman, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
