Softball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva and Plainview squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Geneva had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Bears. The Panthers were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Bears' pitchers proved too tough.

The loss snapped Geneva's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-12 record. As for Plainview, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 39-11 record this season.
