Softball Recap: Interlake Takes a Loss

The Interlake Saints lost 21-11 to Holy Names Academy on Monday.

Madeline Knight was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Tali Estolano was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Interlake's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holy Names Academy, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Interlake will welcome Lindbergh at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holy Names Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bishop Blanchet at 4:00 p.m. Bishop Blanchet will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Holy Names Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
