 Notre Dame-Green Pond and Palisades are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders will head out on the road to  take on  the Palisades Pirates at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Notre Dame-Green Pond is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games.
 On Wednesday,  it was close, but  Notre Dame-Green Pond sidestepped Bangor for  a  5-4 win.
  Rachel Fisher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on seven hits.
 On the hitting side, Notre Dame-Green Pond's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Hannah Lilly, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Palisades put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Upper Perkiomen as Palisades made off with  a  13-2 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Palisades.
  Karlye Teman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   one  hit. Teman has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Teman was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and a  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Ailish Kelleher was a standout: she scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Ava Paglanite, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Notre Dame-Green Pond's record is now 11-6. As for Palisades, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season.
 Both  the pair just can't seem to miss. Notre Dame-Green Pond has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.4  hits per game. However, it's not like Palisades struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 3.5. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
