Basketball Recap: Johannesburg-Lewiston Comes Up Short

Johannesburg-Lewiston lost against Central Lake back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Lake Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly six points.

Johannesburg-Lewiston is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8. As for Central Lake, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.

Looking ahead, Johannesburg-Lewiston will head out to take on Bellaire at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellaire will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Johannesburg-Lewiston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Lake, they will be playing at home against Ellsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
