Jamison Seese Delivers Best Effort of Season

Jamison Seese produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Heritage to the win on Thursday. Seese threw for 212 yards and seven touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Heritage: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

The win got Heritage back to even at 4-4. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles faces off against Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Heritage was led to victory by Tanner Terch, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Ponderosa pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Veazy and Ponderosa are on the road again on Friday to play Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m.

Dakota Ridge Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Landon Kalsbeck

Landon Kalsbeck's big game helped extend Dakota Ridge's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Highlands Ranch had no answer to Kalsbeck as he rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards. Kalsbeck didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made six total tackles.

Dakota Ridge's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Kalsbeck and Dakota Ridge will host Golden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Brooks Hamlett of Highlands Ranch. Hamlett picked up 19 receiving yards and a touchdown.
