Enochs entered their tilt with Pitman on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pride a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Kaylee Ruiz, who gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks to keep Pitman off the board. Ruiz has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Enochs let Makayla Alailima and Soraya Mendoza run wild. Alailima scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Mendoza scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Joella Amezcua, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Enochs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 12 consecutive matchups.

Enochs' win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pitman, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enochs will welcome Gregori at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pitman, they will square off against Modesto at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pride's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
