Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Howell

The Lincoln Railsplitters will head out to square off against the Howell Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln will be strutting in after a win while Howell will be coming in after a loss.

Lincoln is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Thurston by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lincoln needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Emma Hasey and Mikailyn Rodriguez scored all four of Lincoln's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Howell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Glenn, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that Howell have lost by exactly seven goals.

Howell's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Lincoln, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
