Basketball Recap: Tigard Comes Up Short

Tigard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The game between them and the Tualatin Timberwolves didn't end well, with the Tigard Tigers falling 74-58. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Timberwolves are ranked second).

Tigard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Tualatin, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing West Linn the next time they take the court. Tigard will head out to face West Linn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Tualatin will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
