Ryleigh Watrous posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 6.1 innings pitched. She was up against Eastern and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in May of 2024. Watrous has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
