Olympic won the last time they faced Palisades and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Olympic Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Palisades Pumas, sneaking past 61-59. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Olympic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was De'Angelo Hall out in front who to rack up 16 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Maurice Sabb, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Palisades' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tymon Simpkins, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave Simpkins a new career-high. Jayen Reeves was another key player, on his way to 16 points and five boards.

Olympic pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Palisades, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Olympic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-58 loss against Myers Park on the 20th. As for Palisades, they will challenge Independence at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. Palisades knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Independence likes a good challenge.
