Basketball Recap: San Dieguito Academy Takes a Loss

San Dieguito Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 82-40 defeat at the hands of Mission Vista. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-53 back in November of 2024.

San Dieguito Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Mission Vista, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-15.

San Dieguito Academy will face off against Canyon Crest Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mission Vista, they will square off against Sage Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sage Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season.
