North Forney is on a five-game streak of home losses, Forney a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The North Forney Falcons will welcome the Forney Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. North Forney is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, North Forney came up short against Rockwall and fell 55-45. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 66th).

North Forney's defeat came about despite a quality game from Zach Thompson, who posted 14 points. Jaiden Johnson was another key player, putting up five points.

Meanwhile, Forney lost to Rockwall-Heath on the road by a 52-38 margin on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Jackrabbits' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Forney now has a losing record at 13-14. As for North Forney, their loss dropped their record down to 12-20.
