After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lathrop, Pacheco was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Central Valley Hawks 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Pacheco walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-22.

Leading Pacheco to victory were Graciela Welker and Ava Soberanes. Welker had six digs and four aces, while Soberanes had 12 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Welker has posted over her last eight matches. Olivia Rosas also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Pacheco was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pacheco's record is now 5-9. As for Central Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
