Softball Recap: Bentworth Bearcats vs. Neshannock Lancers        
        
		
            
 After a string of 15 wins, Bentworth's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neshannock Lancers. The  contest marked the first time this year in which Bentworth was not able to get on the board.
 For Neshannock's part,  not much got past  Addy Frye, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Bentworth off the board. Frye has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Miley Anderson, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.  Gabby Perod was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Bentworth's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-3. As for Neshannock, their win was  their 14th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 24-0.
 As of now, neither Bentworth nor Neshannock have any future games scheduled.
