Soccer Recap: Roxbury Takes a Loss

Roxbury lost against Chatham back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gaels fell 2-0 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Roxbury can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 175th, while Chatham are ranked 20th).

Roxbury has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season. As for Chatham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3-2.

Roxbury has already played their next matchup (against Newton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chatham, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Sparta on the 27th.
