Winning the CIF Division V state title last year was nice, but the Trailblazers have their sights set much higher this time around.

Trailblazer Storylines

* Don't be surprised at anything this team accomplishes this year — including finishing the season with the No. 1 ranking. A year ago, the youthful Trailblazers went 3-1 at the City of Palms Classic, won the MaxPreps Holiday Classic, beat DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) and Corona del Sol (Tempe, Ariz.) and took Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) to the wire. Just about everybody is back and it's tough to find a hole in the lineup.

* Ramsey is a two-time gold medal recipient with USA Basketball. The Nevada commitment helped the Developmental National Team win the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Argentina and the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship in Dubai. Ramsey also hit a pair of free throws with less than a second left to help Sierra Canyon capture the title at the 2014 MaxPreps Holiday Classic.

* Robbie Feinberg was the lone senior in the rotation for Sierra Canyon a year ago. He was the team's seventh-leading scorer and is on the roster this season for Ivy League power Harvard — a testament to the depth of talent at Sierra Canyon.
