Baseball Recap: Northeastern Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Northeastern won the last time they faced Muncie Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Logan White was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Isaacs, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Northeastern has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern will take on Shenandoah at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Muncie Central, they will head out to challenge Daleville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
