Video: MaxPreps Preseason Top 25 High School Basketball Rankings
Find out who will make a run at No. 1 in 2019-20.

Last week, we released our Top 25 Preseason high school basketball rankings and now it's time to dig deeper and take a look at the 100 best programs heading into the 2019-20 season.

The talent is deepest in California, Texas, Pennsylvania and North Carolina as those four states claim nearly a third of the field.

The Golden State leads the way with nine teams, including Top 5 programs Sierra Canyon and Prolific Prep.  The Lone Star State, Keystone State and Tar Heel State each claim seven teams in the nation. The Garden State has the fifth most with six teams represented, while the Prairie State and Buckeye State each have five teams.

Georgia and Virginia are the only other two states to have at least four teams selected, and the Philadelphia Catholic League and Chicago Public League highlight four top 100 programs alone.

Thirty-one states are represented overall, 32 including Washington, D.C., with 24 of them having multiple teams selected. Twenty-seven of the 100 teams won state title in 2018-19 and will have a chance to repeat this season.

Incidentally, Florida only has three teams in the Top 100, though two of its selections are the Nos. 1 and 2 ranked squads as Montverde Academy and IMG Academy lead the way in both the Sunshine State and nationally.

9. Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.)
According to the official Oak Hill Academy team website, the Warriors have finished among a national Top 25 ranking service 31 consecutive seasons. 13. Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.)
Winning three of the last seven New Jersey Tournament of Champions titles, the Lions have established a Garden State level of excellence. They look to continue that dominance behind a strong core led elite paint presence Clifford Omoruyi (4-star), and key guard transfers Niels Lane (Florida commit) and C.J. Wilcher (Xavier commit). An extremely deep and talented rotation have high expectations heading into the 2019-20 season.

The Buffaloes return very little production as all five starters were lost to graduation after a strong season that saw a first GEICO Nationals bid. Key additions Kendall Brown (5-star), Zachary Clemence (4-star), Jayden Stone (4-star) and Ty Berry (Northwestern commit) will form the foundation for another loaded rotation. Back-to-back invites to GEICO Nationals would be huge for the program's upward trajectory on the national stage.

22. O'Dea (Seattle)
The defending WIAA Class 3A state champions are heavy favorites to repeat, as they return seven players who started at some point in 2018-19. Led by No. 3 class of 2021 prospect Paolo Banchero, key returners John Christofilis (4-star) Jermaine Davis, Dezjay Perkins and Paul Johnson will need to increase their production for this junior oriented team to make some noise on the national stage a year earlier than expected.

23. Morgan Park (Chicago)

29. Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.)

After capturing the New York Federation Class AA crown in 2017-18, the Crusaders struggled because of injuries last year and finished 14-16. A bounce-back behind one of the top guard tandems in high school hoops, future college rivals R.J. Davis (North Carolina commit) and Adrian Griffin Jr. (Duke commit), is likely.

30. Grayson (Loganville, Ga.)
The Rams enter the year with expectations of competing for a state title after a strong 2018-19 campaign that resulted in a state quarterfinal loss  and a 25-4 finish. This unit is led by Deivon Smith (Mississippi State commit), Caleb Murphy (South Florida commit) and Toneari Lane (Winthrop commit).

33. Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Wash.)

The first year Grand Canyon State program begins the season in a strong position after strong play in the preseason. 36. Legacy Early College (Greenville, S.C.)
The Lions are coming off their best season in program history, finishing 34-5 and No. 27 in the final Top 100. While questions surround a youthful squad, this under-the-radar group will be led by key newcomers Nate Tabor (3-star), Jacobi Wright and Ike Cornish.

37. Morton Ranch (Katy, Texas)

The Lions started their season with a pair of impressive wins over state title contenders. Top 50 senior Josh Hall made things look easy with a 32-point performance in their most recent 85-81 victory over Henderson Collegiate. Another player who made a strong impact was Shakeel Moore, finishing with 19 points in the key win.

43. La Crosse Central (La Crosse, Wis.)

45. Yates (Houston)

The notoriously high-scoring Lone Star State basketball program has reloaded and appears primed for a run at their five state championship after falling in the UIL Class 4A state title game last season. A team that averaged over 96 points per game last season has the talent necessary to make some national noise.

46. Lincoln (Ypsilanti, Mich.)
After one of the most remarkable freshman campaigns high school basketball has seen, Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year Emoni Bates will be heavily relied upon to guide this squad to a second consecutive state title. 69. Norcross (Ga.)
The Blue Devils didn't quite live up to national-level expectations after being ranked No. 14 in the MaxPreps preseason rankings. 83. Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, W. Va.)

The Braves feature a balanced and deep lineup with the size to compete against the top teams in the CIF.

The Buccaneers begin the quest for the program's sixth state title in the past eight seasons behind a strong returning core led by Jalen Terry (4-star) and Earnest Sanders (Kentucky football commit).

This squad shocked many on the national stage last season, climbing to No. 5 in the nation before falling out of the rankings after a regional semifinal loss ended their season. Don't be shocked if this group rises up again.

90. Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, N.C.)
This program may have landed their biggest star since John Wall as 5-star big man Isaiah Todd (Michigan commit) is the centerpiece for a talented team with plenty of potential upward mobility.
