Northgate and Villa Rica are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Vikings will challenge the Wildcats on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Northgate is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering McIntosh just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vikings have suffered since September 18th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Villa Rica came up short against Kennesaw Mountain on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Northgate's loss dropped their record down to 20-22. As for Villa Rica, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-11.

Northgate skirted past Villa Rica 2-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
