Basketball Recap: Grand Rapids Victorious

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks beat Twin Cities Academy/Great River 77-71.

Grand Rapids' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Twin Cities Academy/Great River, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Grand Rapids will head out on the road to square off against Denfeld at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Denfeld knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Grand Rapids likes a good challenge. As for Twin Cities Academy/Great River, they will square off against Washington Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Twin Cities Academy/Great River's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
