Volleyball Recap: Santee Gets the Win

Santee not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marty Indian Braves. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won seven in a row.

While Santee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 29-27, 25-11.

Miley Pike paced Santee's offense, picking up nine kills. Pike got some help from Talia Saunsoci and her 11 assists.

Santee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Santee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Omaha Nation on the 11th. As for Marty Indian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Centerville on the 11th.
